Our new facility is so much more than a building: it’s a revolutionary place of healing and hope, and the standard bearer for how to best serve survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual violence.
We call it our “Home for Good” because the facility can grow and change to suit our needs, and it’s a place where so much healing and growth happens.
The new facility — with 56 beds, two playgrounds, and pet-friendly spaces throughout — has more than doubled our capacity to shelter women and families in crisis. The building also houses all our outreach, counseling and legal advocacy programs, Children’s Advocacy Center, and administrative offices, allowing us to provide a full suite of services under one roof, with the security and technology we need to best serve the community.
With the full support of the LACASA Board of Directors and staff, the leadership of Capital Campaign Committee chair Kathleen Barden, and an incredible outpouring from the community, we completed construction and moved into our Home for Good.
Now the finish line is in sight. Help us complete this building, furnish and fill it, and secure a better tomorrow for our community.
Be the good. Support our Home for Good.
